THE FUTILITY OF FALLING is an original chamber musical that explores the fear of vulnerability and the emotional barriers we build to protect ourselves from love. Through an intimate cast of seven voices and chamber ensemble, the work follows characters grappling with trust, abandonment and the courage to be truly seen. Blending contemporary musical theatre with intricate vocal writing, the score reflects the tension between self-preservation and human connection. At its core, THE FUTILITY OF FALLING asks whether the pain of opening ourselves to others is worth the risk, and whether love can exist without first embracing uncertainty.
Premiered at Flight Path Theatre in Sydney Australia for a 5-day show run in DEC 2024
